Fox Project, Janoubian bands to stage Makan in joint performance

CAIRO – 16 September 2017: Newly established band Fox Project and folklore band Janoubian Band will play at the Egyptian Center for Culture and Arts (Makan) on Tuesday.

Fox project has been formed two months ago, and their music revolves around formulating new words that tackle deep topics delivered through special tunes. Though established two months ago, Fox Project is already attracting many fans and is planned to make it big in just two years.

The band consists of Ahmed Mostafa as a vocalist and composer, Amira Shaaban as its cellist, and Kareem Nabhan and Kareem El Seesy as the guitarists. The band will deliver a unique joint performance with Janoubian Band.

Egyptian-based Janoubian Band depend on poetic lyrics that are delivered in folkloric tunes, according to the event’s official Facebook page.

The Egyptian band comprises poet Ahmed Halaby, vocalist Bassel Ateto, and percussionist Mohamed Hesham.
