Lamasatt Art Gallery to open gallery for special needs artists

CAIRO – 14 September 2017: Lamasatt Art Gallery will organize a gallery for special needs artists on September 24. It announced on Facebook that it will start receiving artists’ work until September 21.

The event is organized in participation with the “International Association for the Egyptian Intellectual and Cultural Creativity in Paris,” headed by Jihan Gado.

Gado told Sada el Balad on Wednesday that the idea of the exhibition — considered the first cooperation with Lamsatt gallery — aims to spotlight the artwork of artists with special needs, who have the right to participate and showcase their talents to an audience. Gado added that this gallery also aims to send a message to society to engage with such creative minds in the community and support them.
