Emad Ismail to lead performance in Breaking Walls Festival

CAIRO – 14 September 2017: Artist Emad Ismail will lead a short performance of “If Alive”. The performance will be part of the ongoing Breaking Walls Festival for contemporary dance on September 7 at Falak Bookstore on September 15.

The performance revolves around two people travelling on an illegal boat who have a flashback of their lives.

The more fearful they get, the more they insist on reaching their destination. Their inner voice exposes that who has the adventurer spirit wins all fortunes, and who has the cowardly feelings, dies with heartbreak.

Emad Ismail is the director, author and star of the performance. He is an Egyptian artist who pursued acting in 2000, and he has participated in a number of series, like “Farah Laila” and “Dawaran Shobra”.
