Nicole Roerick to perform “Grab Her” on Friday

CAIRO – 13 September 2017: Nicole Roerick will perform “Grab Her” in Cairo as part of the Breaking Walls Festival on Friday, September 15. The pickup point is in front of Room Art Space & Café, and will be held at the Camera & Microphone Cairo club.

The performance will be part of a tour given by Breaking Walls Festival across Garden City, with all participating venues located within a walking distance.

Roerick’s performance is a response to the 2017 Donald Trump administration, and tackles themes of anger, confusion, outrage, justice, and the performer’s own experience as a woman in the U.S.

The songs included in the performance are “Rain” by Gavin Stevenson, “Enjoy Your Worries You May Never Have Them Again” by The Books, and “Walk Thru It” by Russ.
