CAIRO – 12 September 2017: The Goethe Institute in Dokki, Giza will host a special program called ”Shubbak El Fann” where audiences help design the cultural programs and influence things their way.
The application is available for everyone living in Egypt, and is available across all types of art, from music, theatre, film, dance, fine arts, to literature. Artists can show off their own projects to the panel for judgment.
This program allows emerging artists to receive the exposure and guidance they need to hone their skills and grow as creators. The jury consists of three professional members, artists, cultural managers, and members of the Goethe Institute.
The Goethe Institute is a non-profit organization aiming to promote the German language and foster cross-cultural relationships between countries. The institute has been in operation for over 60 years and has played a central role in the cultural and educational heart of Germany. Goethe aims to educate Egyptians about German culture and hosts language courses, workshops, and seminars. In total, the institute has 160 branches worldwide.
Deadlines for submissions to “Shubbak El Fann” is Wednesday, September 20.
