CAIRO - 8 September 2017: The experts committee responsible for choosing the Egyptian film to compete in Oscars 2018 announced that it delayed the voting procedures to select the participating movie.
The committee postponed its decision to give its members a chance to watch Eid al Adha movies beside the films that are expected to be screened at the end of this month. It was presented by the famous American presenter Jimi Kimmel for the first time. La La Land movie won the greatest share of the awards after scoring 14 nominations, while Moon Light film won three awards.
