Animation film “Waking Life” to Screen at Magnolia Leaves of Art

CAIRO – 6 September 2017: Magnolia Leaves of Art will screen American animation film “Waking Sleep” on September 11.

The film revolves around a man who questions the difference between imagination and reality, and philosophical issues through asking people he in real life and people of his imagination.

Released in 2001, “Waking Life” was the first animation film to be released by Fox Searchlight Pictures.

Directed by Richard Linklater, the drama/fantasy film stars Wiley Wiggins, Ethan Hawke, Trevor Jack Brooks, Lorelei Linklater.

“Waking Life” achieved a number of awards such as OIAF award for Best Animated Feature Film in Ottawa International Film Festival, and CinemAvvenire Award for Best Film Venice Film Festival.
