‘Whiplash’ to screen at Room Art & Space Café

CAIRO – 5 September 2017: American drama film, “Whiplash,” will be screen at Room Art Space and Café on September 10.

It shows the relationship between a young passionate drummer and his aggressive instructor in school.

It was written and directed by Damien Chazelle and starred by Miles Teller and J.K. Simmons. The film was released in 2014.

It participated in many international festivals such as Academy Awards, Golden Globes, Santa Barbara International Film Festival, Stockholm Film Festival, and Abu Dhabi International Film Festival.

It won three Oscars for Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting role, Best Achievement in Film Editing, and Best Achievement in Sound Mixing.

“Whiplash” will be the second screened movie during September in “Film and Coffee Night” at the Room Space Art and Café.
