Medhat Saleh to perform in ‘Adwaa al-Madina Festival’

CAIRO – 5 September 2017: The Egyptian veteran singer Medhat Saleh is preparing for his coming concert which is part of the concerts of “Adwaa al-Madina Festival" (City Lights Festival).

Saleh’s concert will take place in Bibliotheca Alexandrina on Wednesday, September 6. “Adwaa al-Madina” is a famous music festival that is affiliated to the Egyptian Radio and Television Union.

Saleh’s concert is the third in “Adwaa al-Madina’’ after Tamer Hosny’s concert and Wael Gassar's concert.
"The return of “Adwaa al-Madina” comes as a crowning for the pioneering role of Egyptian radio and its soft power,” said Amal Massoud, deputy head of the Egyptian Radio and the festival president.

It is worth mentioning that Saleh’s last concert was in the closing ceremony of the 26th Citadel Festival for Music and Singing on Saturday, August 26.
