Students of local arts school to join in arts project abroad

CAIRO – 3 September 2017: El Darb El Ahmar Arts School has selected 12 students to travel to Lebanon under the name of Flying Camp from August 18 to September 4.

The camp aims to enhance the skills of the students participating in Nehna Wel Amar Wel Geran International Festival.

Students will be attending a number of courses and workshops that will be led by a number of theatre directors and artists.

Al Darb Al Ahmar Arts School was established in late 2011 in cooperation with Aga Khan Music Initiative.

It aims to develop the skills of Al Darb Al Ahmar children to express themselves in arts.
