Islam Saeed to host a street theater workshop

CAIRO – 2 September 2017: Cairo International Festival for Contemporary and Experimental Theater is hosting Islam Saeed, who will conduct a street theater workshop from September 12 to September 15.

The workshop will review the history of the street arts, its revolution and its adaption to society and culture. The deadline for registration is September 4.

The participants will learn about street theater arts techniques and how to produce it as well as how it affects surrounding society. At the end of the workshop, the participants will present a short performance in accordance with what they have studied.

Saeed is one of the most prominent artists of his generation from the youth of Egypt. He has been interested in the arts that come from the streets and presented many street performances. His latest work was presented in Italy.
