Renowned French singer biography to screen at Room Art Space & Café

CAIRO – 2 September 2017: Documentary film “La Vie En Rose” will be screened at Room Art Space and Café on September 3, featuring the ambitious life of the iconic French singer Edith Piaf.

Directed by Olivier Dahan, the film was released in 2007 and was awarded an Oscar for “Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role” and “Best Achievement in Makeup”.
“La Vie En Rose” was the first French film to win two Oscars.

This film night is the first of September’s “Coffee and Movie Nights” held at the Room Art & Space Café. The September films were selected to explore the bond between music and cinema.

Four movies are selected to screen throughout the month: “La Vie En Rose”, “Whiplash”, “Inside Llewyn Davis” and “The Wall”.
