Cultural Forum in Damanhour hosts an array of performances

CAIRO – 31 August 2017: The first Cultural Forum of the Creation Center in Damanhour, entitled “Culture Combating Terrorism”, was launched on Tuesday.

Director of the National Organization of Cultural Palaces Ashraf Amer opened the forum to feature an array of cultural activities.

Directed by Atef El Sharkawy, the forum displayed specific works by the organization, accompanied by a tour of the General Library and Children's Library.
The forum also featured a number of workshops for kids, including etiquette, handcraft, and creative writing workshops.

A gallery for El Beheira artists was also carried out, alongside a Tanoura show by Emmad Ashraf and a documentary film showcasing the center’s various activities.

The last segment in the program featured performances led by Hany Shenouda for a number of composers, including Mozart and Mohamed Abd El Wahab.

The forum concluded by honoring Egyptian composer Hany Shenouda, former director of the center Ahmed Osama and journalist Mostafa El Kady.
