Actor Ahmed Achrafi to conduct acting workshop at Place des Arts

CAIRO- 26 August 2017: Place des Arts will host an ‘Acting for Camera’ workshop for two months starting September 15 and it will be conducted by actor Ahmed Achrafi.

The workshop will allow beginners and striving actors to build their skills and discover new acting techniques. It will include: feedback on performance, exercises for vocal and physical expression, and exercises for looking realistic in front of the camera while acting.

Achrafi worked as a freelance actor, dancer and performer, since 2011. He is an acting coach and conducts workshops for both children and adults in every summer at AUC.

His many performances include ‘First Draft’ play, ‘Taxi’ theater show, ‘Everyone Is Snakingly Avoiding The Blue Lighter’ a contemporary dance performance, ‘Triangles are my Favorite Shape’ play, and ‘Elwafed’ play.

Achrafi was also a part of the ‘Home Visits’ show by the German Troupe Rimini Protokol that was shown during the D-CAF festival 2016.
