Cairo Comix fetsival kicks off next month

Cairo – August 25: The third edition of Cairo Comix festival takes place between September 22 and 24 at the American University in Cairo.

The festival includes talks, workshops, comic book sales and exhibitions. It tries to shed light on the trending art, by bringing together artists, competitor, experts and fans in the same place.

Cairo Comix festival is about the evolution of the independent art movement in Egypt and more broadly the Middle East and North Africa region.

CairoComix is an artistic celebration that also brings the Egyptian public together with local and international comic book artists and provides for the first time many prizes like Best Published Graphic Novel in Arabic, the festival’s Facebook page reported.
