CAIRO – 23 August 2017: La Biennale di Venezia's Library is to temporarily close by August 31 and will be open to the public after the month's end.
Located in the Central Pavilion in Giardini, the Library has been open to the public since 2010, and features historical archives with a focus on contemporary art and archiving the activities of La Biennale di Venezia’s organization. Its excellent architectural quality ensures its reading room is a must-see, surrounded by over 800 meters of shelves. It is considered one of Italy's leading libraries thanks to its impressive collection of over 150,000 volumes and 3,000 periodicals.
The Library temporarily opened since August 21, but will close again on August 31.
