Ahmed Morsy at Cinematic Recipes

CAIRO – 19 August 2017: The professional cinematographer Ahmed Morsy will participate in Cinematic Recipes at Photopia on August 28.

Morsy will discuss the techniques of film photography, the differences between movies and documentaries, shooting, reading scenario, lighting and other cinematic techniques.

He will also talk about his experience in this field, and how he was involved in cinematography.

Rasa’l Al Bahr [Messages from the Sea], El Asleyeen [The Original], Aswar El Amar [The Moon’s Walls] and El Fel El Azraa’ [The Blue Elephent] are the major works that Morsy participated in.

He directed a big number of music videos for leading Arabic singers as Tamer Hosny and Samira Saeed.

He managed to bring the latest techniques and tools to the Middle East and in the Egyptian cinema production.
