Aly Elhelbawy concert in 15th International Summer Festival

Cairo- August 14- 2017: The famous Egyptian singer Aly Elhelbawy to perform Monday in Bibliotheca Alexandrina as a part of the events of the 15th International Summer Festival. Elhelbawy’s concert will start at 8:30 pm and the ticket price is 50 L.E.

The International Summer Festival is a massive music and arts festival organized by the BA Arts Center with the goal of adding a “colorful taste” to summers in Alexandria, as explained in their mission statement. It attracts a diverse audience through its combination of classical Egyptian art and new and varied mediums of art and music.

The 2017 addition shows more than 60 versatile artistic events including music, theatre, cinema and dance.

This year’s festival witnessed the participation of a group of young singers including Mohamed Mohsen, Dina el-Wedidi, Ali el-Helbawy and May Abdel Aziz. Participating Egyptian musicians also include renowned musicians Omar Khairat, Fouad, Mounib, Ahmed Rabie and Hisham Kharma.

Moroccan artist Oum, Tareq al-Nasser from Jordan, Nasser el-Mizdawi from Libya and Asia Madani from Sudan will also perform during the festival.

Egyptian bands including Cairokee, Black Theama, Massar Egbari, Andromedia and Wust El Balad will perform. Nine theatrical shows, dance shows and stand-up comedy performances are scheduled in the program.
