Donia Anis, Amr Beshr performing at Room Art Space Thursday

CAIRO - 13 August 2017: Donia Anis and Amr Beshr will be performing at Room Art Space on August 17.

The duo started their musical journey through jamming sessions. They decided to take a leap and share their unique style to an international audience.

Anis and Beshr’s style is a combination of western and eastern cultural music. They cover international songs in their own style and have a few originals including some that are in Arabic. Their mash-up covers and originals are of different languages including Arabic.

Anis is a vocalist and rhythm guitarist from the age of 7. She posts her music on SoundCloud. The other half of the duo, and the founder of ‘Malaaz’ band, Beshr started playing guitar in 2011 and shared his music on YouTube channel.
