Tanta Book Fair’s second round to kick off August 12

CAIRO - 8 August 2017: General Egyptian Book Organization is currently preparing for the second round of the Tanta Book Fair to start in August 12. The preparations include organizing events, cultural and artistic activities.

The Ministry of Culture will participate in the fair represented by the National Center for Translation, Cultural Development Fund, General Organization For Culture Palaces, as well as the Egyptian National Library and Archives.

The first round of the book fair took place in Mostafa Saadeq Al-Rafe'ie School, and was inaugurated in 20 August 2016 by the Minister of Culture Helmy al-Namnam, Governor of Al-Garbiya Ahmed Deif Sakr, and the President of the General Egyptian Book Organization Dr. Haitham al-Hag Ali.
