Oscarisma Studio to stage El Sawy Culture Wheel

CAIRO – 7 August 2017: The Egyptian jazz-oriented Oscarisma Studio music band will be performing at El Sawy Culture Wheel on August 20.

Through gathering of independent artists and art amateurs, the group was able to form Oscarisma Studio which continues several affiliates including a music band and theatrical performers.

The studio also hosts composing and writing workshops, acting workshops, and fine arts and graphics workshops. The artists are also known for performing mime art. The band aims to criticize negative societal behavior through produced music, lyrics, compositions, and performances, according to their official Facebook page.

Inspired by Arab and International artists such as Micheal Jackson, Fayrouz, William Shakespear, Bob Marely, and Greek Theater among others, Oscarisma Studio seeks to lead an artistic revolution in cooperation with independent artists to develop the Egyptian culture scene.
