Eskendrella is performing at El Sawy Culture Wheel on Eid El Adha

CAIRO – 7 August 2017: Egyptian band Eskenderella announced on Sunday through their official Facebook page that they will be performing at EL Sawy Culture Wheel on the first day of Eid El Adha.

Led by Hazem Shaheen, the group was founded in 2005, and consists in total of the following members; Hazem Shaheen, Ashraf Najati, Hassan Al-Manilawi, Islam Abdul Aziz, Yousef Al-Sharaie, Ahmed Al-Muji, Amir Ezzat, Farid Gad, Sikah, Hazem Shaheen, Mai Haddad, Salma Haddad, Alia Shaheen, Ashraf Najati, Hassan Al-Manilawi, and Islam Abdul Aziz and Yousef Al-Sharaie.

Eskenderella has performed in many international festivals such as the Carthage Festival in Tunisia in 2011 where they represented Egypt, the Jerash Festival in Jordan in 2012, The Arab Spring in Southbank Center in 2012 and The 90th Lebanese Communist Party in Beirut in 2014.

The band started out by covering songs for Sheikh Sayed Daroush, Sheikh Imam and Ziad Rahbani. Later on, Eskendrella started performing songs composed by Shaheen, their leader, Fouad Haddad, Salah Jahin, Amin Haddad, Tamim Barghouthi and Ahmed Haddad.
