CAIRO – 1 August 2017: Approximately 100 readers have benefited daily from the commuting library located in Giza’s Animal Zoo, Mohamed Salah head of the library said on Tuesday.
Salah also asserted that the library was deemed attractive to a large number of visiting families and visitors. The library hosts workshops for children on Mondays and Thursdays.
Egyptian National Publishing House has inaugurated the library on July 16 as part of six other commuting libraries located in Cairo.
The concept of commuting libraries has been suspended operationally since the Egyptian January 25 revolution.
