Nasir Shamma opened his new art exhibition at the Bab Gallery in the Egyptian Opera House on Tuesday, the 21st of this month, at 6 PM.

The event was attended by Egypt’s Minister of Culture, Dr. Ahmed Hanno, alongside a group of artists and public figures. The exhibition will run until the 1st of February, and opens daily from 9 AM to 9 PM, except on Fridays.

This exhibition marks Nasir Shamma’s return to Egypt, where he had lived for many years and established the first Oud House. This time, he presents his creative endeavors in the field of visual arts. This is Shamma’s first solo exhibition in Egypt and the second in his artistic journey.

The exhibition features a collection of medium and small-sized works, continuing a three-decade-long artistic experience that began in 2011 when he created several pieces in Egypt before exploring other artistic paths.

Previously, Nasir Shamma participated in prestigious group exhibitions, including "Abu Dhabi Art" for two consecutive years and a solo exhibition at the Union Gallery in Abu Dhabi. He expressed his joy at returning to Egypt through this exhibition, thanking Dr. Walid Qannoush for his support in organizing the event, and emphasizing his deep connection with Egypt as a nurturing ground for creativity.

In this exhibition, Nasir Shamma aims to blend his passion for music with his artistic vision, describing each painting as a bridge to a space that transcends physical boundaries, where colors and musical scales engage in a silent dialogue that reflects the profound mysteries of existence.
