Jodie Foster wins her Golden Globe for ‘True Detective: Night Country’

Jodie Foster wins the Golden Globe for best performance by a female actor in a limited series, anthology series or motion picture made for television for her role in “True Detective: Night Country”.

 

After receiving her fifth Golden Globe, Foster called out Icelanders and Indigenous people who shared their stories with those on the show, saying they "changed my life."

 

She also gave a shout out to her son, who is starting his acting career. "Hopefully you understand the joy, such joy, of doing really hard, meaningful, good work," she said.
