Renowned Egyptian Archaeologist Zahi Hawass Responds to MrBeast Comments. “There is no such thing as ‘renting the pyramids’ under Egyptian law,” stated Dr. Zahi Hawass in response to comments made by YouTuber MrBeast. “The claims he mentioned were either a slip of the tongue or an exaggeration. According to the law, filming in the Pyramids area is permitted in exchange for a fee, a practice common in many countries around the world.”
