Tarek Nour, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the United Media Services Company, commented on the company’s statement announcing the alliance between United Media Services, Tarek Nour Holding, and Al-Mehwar Channel to establish a future strategy for developing the media system.
Tarek Nour said: “Of course, the state relying on the expertise and management of the private sector means it is opening the door to media independence. But as they say, brevity is the soul of wit—let’s focus on the work now, not on too much talk or good intentions.”
He added: “I have complete confidence that the talent and resources currently available within the alliance are capable of advancing the media industry in all its aspects. I am optimistic about the trust the state has placed in the private sector. With time, if we empower the existing talents, the role of Egyptian media and its soft power will bring us all joy, God willing.”
