The Egyptian Musicians Syndicate led by artist Mostafa Kamel, has decided to refer Sherine Abdel Wahab for investigation due to her comment about the late composer Mohamed Rahim during her recent concert in Kuwait.

Mostafa Kamel described her behavior as "completely contrary to all values and principles."

Sherine Abdel Wahab made a point of apologizing for a slip of the tongue during her sold-out concert in Kuwait.

While asking the audience to recite Al-Fatiha for the late Mohamed Rahim, she stumbled over her words and unintentionally said something inappropriate.

She immediately offered her apologies and requested that anyone sharing the video do so in full, to demonstrate that she had indeed apologized.
