The Society of Authors, Composers, and Publishers has announced that it will organize a tribute concert for the late composer Mohamed Rahim at the Main Hall of the Cairo Opera House on Wednesday, December 18, 2024.
 
The society’s official Facebook page states:
“Under the patronage of Dr. Ahmed Fouad Heno, Minister of Culture, the Society of Authors, Composers, and Publishers, headed by Dr. Medhat El Adl, will hold a tribute concert for the late acclaimed Egyptian composer Mohamed Rahim at the Main Hall of the Cairo Opera House on Wednesday, December 18, 2024.
 
The event will feature the participation of prominent singers from Egypt and the Arab world who performed his compositions.”
 
It is worth noting that Mohamed Rahim passed away on November 23 at the age of 45 after suffering a sudden health crisis.
 
 
Rahim was a renowned Egyptian composer and music arranger whose career began with the song Waghlawtak for Amr Diab in the 1998 album Awodooni.
 
 
He composed many iconic songs, including Younes for Mohamed Mounir, Al-Layali for Nawal El Zoghbi, Wala Ala Baloh for Amr Diab, Leh Bifakrouni for Mohamed Mohie, and Agmal Ehsas for Elissa, among many others.
