At the 45th Cairo International Film Festival, Argentine filmmaker Gaspar Noé conducted an insightful masterclass, offering attendees a deep dive into his creative process and cinematic philosophy.

Known for his provocative and visually daring films like Enter the Void and Irreversible, Noé shared his experiences in pushing the boundaries of storytelling and experimenting with unconventional techniques in cinema.

The session focused on the importance of evoking emotions through innovative visual and narrative styles. Noé discussed his approach to long takes, non-linear storytelling, and bold use of lighting and sound design to immerse audiences.

He emphasized that filmmaking is about taking risks and challenging traditional formats to create something memorable and thought-provoking.

The masterclass was part of the Cairo Film Industry Days, a platform aimed at fostering dialogue and collaboration among filmmakers and industry professionals.
