The 45th Edition of the Cairo International Film Festival organized a panel discussion titled "In Conversion With Ahmed Ezz" moderated by film critic Rami El Metwally.
During the panel discussion, Egyptian superstar Ahmed Ezz shared insights from his extensive artistic career with the attendees.
“Working in this field has made me understand the influential role of art. When people love you, it is a huge blessing from God” Ezz said.
He talked about his first collaboration with Yousra in "Malak Rouhy" and the significant success he experienced after working on that series.
“The most vital aspect of any profession is passion; you should be passionate about what you do.”
Ezz expressed his dedication to delivering exceptional performances to satisfy his audience.
“The key objective is to ensure your work reaches all audiences, not just a specific segment” Ezz said.
He also mentioned how Adel Emam and Nour El Sherif have had a positive impact on his career.
“I will never forget the advice of megastar Adel Emam. He told me that the most important factors in our field are commitment and the quality of the script.“
Additionally, Ezz emphasized his commitment to acting in multiple movies each year.
“I was advised that the star should perform in one movie only each year, but I adore my work so I said I will work in more than one movie each year, of cours, if I find good scripts.”
Ezz remarked that to be an artist, one must understand that psychological suffering is inevitable, both internally and externally.
“Building a career was not by all means easy for anyone working in any field.”
Ezz added that working with Karim Abdelaziz and Ahmed El Sakka was easy and amusing because both of them are respectable and loyal to their profession.
Ezz concluded his talk with this advice: “Walk your path diligently, and God will assist you and illuminate your way.”
