Acclaimed Egyptian Actor Mostafa Fahmy Dies Aged 82

 
Fahmy died after his health condition deteriorated during the past hours, in the aftermath of undergoing surgery to remove a cancerous brain tumor.  
 
 
The acclaimed Egyptian actor was born in 1942 and studied cinematography at the High Institute of Cinema.
 
 
After his graduation, he worked as an assistant photographer in "Amira Hobby Ana" (Amira My Love) and debuted his acting career in the same year with a role in the film "Ayna Aqly".
 
Fahmy’s repertoire houses several impactful works including the “Qeset El Ams” series, “El Hafar” series, and the “El Serb” movie among others.
 
Fahmy is the younger brother of renowned actor Hussein Fahmy.
