In front of the Great Pyramid of Khufu in Giza, the Ministers of Tourism & Antiquities and Agriculture & Land Reclamation officially launched the National Program for the Care and Protection of Horses, Camels, & Pets at archaeological sites. 
 
The ministers also inspected veterinary caravans stationed in the area, which provide vaccinations and medical care for camels, horses, and other animals.
 
The Minister of Tourism & Antiquities announced plans to establish a dedicated training center to educate camel and horse owners and operators at archaeological sites on best animal care practices.
 
This initiative aims to enhance the well-being of animals that play an essential role in supporting Egypt’s tourism industry.
