El Gouna Film Festival announces the continuation of the successful collaboration between El Gouna Film Festival and Zawya Cinema in Cairo for the second consecutive year.
This collaboration reflects both organizations’ shared commitment to fostering cultural and artistic exchange while broadening the cinema audience in Egypt. Together we aim to offer a unique cinematic experience for film enthusiasts, with a special focus on independent and alternative cinema.
As part of our "Gouna @ Zawya" initiative, 14 films from this year’s El Gouna Film Festival selection will be screened at Zawya Cinema, from October 27 to November 2, with two films showcased daily. Tickets will be available for booking through Zawya Cinema starting on October 23.

This initiative serves as a step toward introducing the target audience to the latest global and regional film productions, and enhancing artistic and cultural awareness through screenings of high artistic value.
