What does it mean to truly direct actors, and how can the director help them deliver their best performances? These are just a few of the questions that will be expertly explored by renowned director Tamer Mohsen in one of the most anticipated masterclass at the CineGouna Forum, “Directing Actors.”

Tamer Mohsen, known for his collaboration with legendary screenwriter Wahid Hamed on the series Bedoon Zikr Asmaa (2013), as well as his work on the hit shows Haza Al Masaa (2017) and Newton’s Cradle (2021), will share invaluable insights aimed at both directors and actors alike.

The session is moderated by Egyptian actor Sedky Sakhr, will take place on October 30th at 1 PM.

Across nine days, El Gouna Film Festival brings together a diverse group of filmmakers, producers, aspiring talents, and people both behind and in front of the camera — unsung heroes and stars alike.

In an effort to make the most of this gathering and create opportunities for learning and collaboration, the GFF Hub serves as a space to literally bump into the industry’s brightest figures. Under one roof, the Hub has become a place to chat, hang out, learn, pitch, watch films, grab a quick bite, marvel at art exhibitions, and more.

This year, bigger than ever, the Hub once again serves as the epicenter ofthe El Gouna Film Festival.
