Essam Omar wore the Palestine flag lapel pin on the red carpet of the Venice Film Festival.

 

 

Omar's film "Seeking Haven for Mr. Rambo" premiered in the Orizzonti Extra section at the 81st Venice International Film Festival, running until September 7th.

 

 

 

The film showcases the story of Hassan, a young man in his thirties who finds himself while on a mission to save his dog and best friend, Rambo.

 

 

 

He must confront the fears of his past when he and Rambo become involved in a serious incident, despite their innocence. Overnight, his neighbor, Karem, and the neighborhood residents start chasing him.
