The head of the Nabta Children Festival, Ahmed Amin, has stated that the festival will continue after the conclusion of the New Alamein Festival activities. The winners will be announced in November, and the festival is open to children aged 5 to 12.

Amin mentioned that the goal is to expand the Nabta festival to all Egyptian governorates to reach every Egyptian child. Nabta Festival is supported by United Media Services and WATCH IT.

The first edition of Nabta bears the name of the late veteran poet and writer Shawky Hegab, whose art focused on children's content. Nabta Festival will honor a group of writers and artists who entertained a generation of children with content and songs and gave them powerful messages with their works.
It is important to note that a group of actors, including Hesham Maged, Shaimaa Seif, Mustafa Gharib, Jean Ramez, and Lavinia Nader, will be participating in performances for children during the opening ceremony.

Puppets are scheduled to appear alongside the participating actors during their performances. Director Hisham Fathi will prepare an operetta written by Menna El Kiey and composed by Ahmed Tarek Yahia.

The second edition of the New Alamein Festival kicked off on July 11 and will continue to August 30.

It features a wide range of artistic and sporting events, following the success of the festival's first edition last year.

In accordance with the state's plan to reduce electricity load consumption, New Alamein Festival will hold 50 percent of its activities during the day.

It was announced during the press conference that 50 percent of the festival’s activities will be during the day, in addition to relying on solar energy and electric generators.

Given the current circumstances, the Alamein Festival has decided to launch its second edition under the slogan 'Alamein, the World,' raising the beloved Palestinian flag to flutter freely, with pride and dignity, alongside the Egyptian flag.

The festival has also decided to allocate 60% of the profits from the second edition of Alamein festival to support our people in Palestine.

This means that every Egyptian or Arab family participating in the festival's activities and events will be supporting a Palestinian family.

The second edition of the New Alamein Festival will end on August 30.
