CAIRO - 4 August 2024: In a three-year program (2024/2026) to enhance cultural and creative awareness, the government plans to facilitate the procedures for international filming in Egyptian locations and reducing its expenses.

Egypt is rich in many diverse and unique cultural and artistic locations and legacies, but few international cinematic works have been shot in the country.

The government will organize cultural festivals and events that celebrate cultural and religious diversity in Egypt, and enhance state-sponsored translation works.

The government said it is working to provide cultural and artistic services to all segments of society and to establish integrated cultural centers, theaters, and public libraries in rural areas.
