The New Alamein Festival Witnesses A Special Musical Evening That Brings Together Three Bands, ‘Code Misr’, ‘High Dam’ and ‘Hafez W Bustan’.
Today, Monday, the New Alamein Festival will witness a special musical evening that brings together three bands, “Code Misr,” “High Dam,” and “Hafez W Bustan,” at 8 pm.
The Roman Theater in New El Alamein is hosting concerts of underground music bands and rap stars, each carrying a different theme and musical form, and the theater opens its doors to the public for free to enjoy these concerts.
Code Misr is an Egyptian rock band that relies on pop fusion music and began its singing journey eight years ago. It has more than forty songs under its belt, and among its most famous songs are “Al-Nas,” “Fe Zamana”, “Law Tefhaminy” and its new song “Yaba Yaba.”
High Dam is an Egyptian Nubian band that started its journey from Alexandria 12 years ago. The band presents Nubian heritage songs and African folklore in a modern musical form with a youthful vision. Among its most famous songs are “Rango,” “Ya Helw,” and “Kora.”
Hafez W Bustan is a duo band that includes singer Bustan Magdy and her husband, Ahmed Hafez, the bass player in the Massar Egbari band. It began its journey four years ago and presents a mix of original acoustic songs with Alexandrian style. Among their most famous songs are “Mishwar,” “Fe Ay Makan,” and “ Bekelma.”
