Directed and co-written by Michael Sarnoski and John Krasinski, A QUIET PLACE: DAY ONE — the third installment in the franchise — which stars the Oscar-winning Lupita Nyong’o, the ever-charismatic Joseph Quinn, and the formidable Djimon Hounsou, plunges us back into the world of sound-hunting alien nasties.

 

This time, we leave the Abbott family behind and follow Nyong’o’s Samira as she navigates the chaos of the invasion's first moments in the bustling, never-quiet city of New York. Teaming up with a local, they must figure out how to survive in the loudest city on Earth and play the world's most intense quiet game.

 

The Paramount film, conceived by A QUIET PLACE filmmaker John Krasinski, is directed and written by Michael Sarnoski of PIG FAME.

 

A QUIET PLACE surprised audiences in 2018, propelling Krasinski to A-list director status by earning $340.9m worldwide. Its sequel, A QUIET PLACE PART II, brought in $297.3m globally in 2021 — a remarkable success in the post-COVID cinema industry.
