Today, on Monday, the second day of Eid al-Adha, nine theatrical performances will start in the state theaters of Cairo and Alexandria.
 
 
These performances are presented by various production sectors affiliated with the cultural production sector, which is led by the renowned director Khaled Galal.
 
 
The plays include lyrical comedies, dance performances, and folk arts.
 
During the Eid season, some unique performances will be presented for the first time.
 
 
 
 
For example, "Mesh Romeo & Juliet," starring veteran singer Ali Al-Hajjar, Rania Farid Shawky, and Mohamed Adel, and directed by Essam Al-Sayed, will be shown at the National Theater.
 
 
Another play, "Amel A’ala," will be presented at the Balloon Theater in Agouza, starring Sameh Hussein and Samar Allam, and directed by Islam Imam.
 
"El Eyal Fehmet," with Rana Samaha, Rami Al-Tombari, and Abdel Moneim Riad, directed by Shadi Sorour, will be performed at the Comedy Theater stage.
 
 
 
 
On the Youth Theater stage, "Maraya Electra," written by Metwally Hamed and directed by Ayman Mostafa, will be showcased.
 
 
 
In Alexandria, at the Lycée El-Hurriya Theater, the play "Hazem Hassem Gedan," starring Amr Abdel Aziz, written by Walid Youssef and directed by Mohamed Morsy, will be presented.
 
"The Artist" will be shown at the Hanager Theater, with Hanadi Abdel Khalek and Fatima Adel, written and directed by Mohamed Zaki.
 
 
At the Abdel Moneim Madbouly Theater in El Ataba, the play "El Helm Halawa," directed by Mai Mohab and written by Yasser Abu Al-Enein, will be performed.
 
 
 
At the Cairo Puppet Theater, the play "Zat El Reda’aa El Ahmar," written by Walid Kamal and directed by Nadia Al-Shuwaikh, will be presented. 
 
 
 
 
The play's voice-over includes Esaad Younis, Hala Fakher, Mayan El Sayed, and Amr Ramzy, among others. 
 
 
 
 
 
Additionally, a play for children, "Mogamrat Fe El Madina El Ostoria," written by Ayman Fetiha and directed by Monica Joseph, will be shown at the Lycée El-Hurriya Theater in Alexandria, along with other shows from previous seasons.
