This festive season promises to be a treat for moviegoers, with a thrilling competition among four standout Egyptian films, each bringing its unique flair and vying for the top spot in the holiday box office marathon. The stakes are higher than ever, as filmmakers pull out all the stops to captivate viewers with compelling storytelling, stunning visuals, and stellar performances.

1- “Ahl El Kahef”

The movie narrates the epic tale of the people of the cave who woke up from their long sleep that spanned over three centuries, to find themselves in a different era so they struggle to deal with this unrecognizable world.

“Ahl El Khaf” houses a star-studded cast including Khaled El Nabawy, Mohamed Mamdouh, Ghada Adel, Mohamed Farag, Ahmed Eid, Sabry Fawaz, Reem Moustafa, and Passant Shawky among others. The film is based on a play of the same name by the iconic Tawfeek al-Hakim, it is scripted by Ayman Bahgat Kamar and directed by Amr Arafa.

2- “Welad Rizk 3: El Adya"

The film's events revolved years after the Rizk brothers' separation when they became forced to return to the world of crime and theft again.
Events escalate when the Rizk brothers steal something valuable from international boxer Tyson Fury, which brings them into conflict with influential men.

"Welad Rizk 3: El Adya” features a star-studded cast including Ahmed Ezz, Amr Youssef, Karim Kassem, Sayed Ragab, Asser Yassin and Aly Sobhy. The film is written by Salah El Gehiny and directed by Tarek Alarian.

3- "Esabet El Max"

Ahmed Fahmy portrays the character "El Max," a gang leader who was featured as a guest star in the movie Casablanca. In this role, he is depicted preparing for a criminal operation in collaboration with his gang members.

Egyptian megastar Ahmed Elsakka will appear as a guest of honor in the “Esabet El Max” movie. The movie lead Ahmed Fahmy noted, “I’m pleased with El Sakka’s participation as a guest of honor in “Esabet El Max”.

I’m glad to work with him again and again, he is a dear friend and brother, and he is the only star who doesn’t refuse to participate for free in any of his colleagues’ works, and I learned this from him”.

“Esabet El Max" is directed by Hossam Soliman. It is Soliman's directorial debut after working as an assistant director in numerous cinematic works acclaimed directors, including Mohammed Yassin and Hani Khalifa. The film is written by Ramy Aly and Amgad Al-Sharqawy, and starring Ahmed Fahmy, Ruby, Lebleba, Osos, and Hatem Salah, among others.

4- “El Leb Ma’aa El Eyal”

“El Leb Ma’aa El Eyal” marks the first collaboration between the renowned director Sherif Arafa and the Egyptian star Mohamed Emam. The movie features a star-studded cast, including Asmaa Galal, Bassem Samra, Haggag Abd El Azim, Wizo, and Mustafa Gharib, among others.

Written and directed by Sherif Arafa, the film tells the story of a young man who faces a series of hardships and crises that turn his life upside down in a comedic setting.

The production company has set the release date for June 12th. The film was shot across five different governorates: the Red Sea, South Sinai, Damietta, Matrouh, and Cairo, specifically in remote areas such as Siwa, Nuweiba, the Hurghada desert, and Sharm El-Sheikh.

The film belongs to the genre of works previously presented by Sherif, such as "El Nazer" with the late Alaa Wali El Din and "Fool El Seen El Azeem," which were successful and achieved significant box office revenues.
