Arab Film Festival Rotterdam honors Ahmed Helmy, Hisham Maged

 

Coming up on stage during the festival’s closing ceremony, Helmy courageously championed the cause of Palestinian rights, amplifying the impactful message conveyed by Rami Younis and Sarah Ema Friedland's and highlighting the urgent need for awareness and advocacy on the Palestinian struggle.

 

 

On the sidelines of his participation in the Arab Film Festival Rotterdam, Helmy participated in a solidarity stand with the Palestinians in Amsterdam.

 

 

 

Arab Film Festival Rotterdam was inaugurated at the "LantarenVenster" cinema hall with a distinguished cultural display, featuring delicious Arabic culinary tastings in the foyer.

 

 

The event was highlighted by a stunning musical performance by the Marmoucha Orchestra, which shone as an elegant trio during the Arab Film Festival Rotterdam 2024.

 

 

 

 

 

Over four days, the festival explored Arab cinema showcasing a diverse array of films made by Arab filmmakers, including films from North Africa, the Middle East, and the Gulf region.
