The British period crime drama Peaky Blinders" is created by Steven Knight.

 

 

 

It is set in Birmingham and revolves around the exploits of the Peaky Blinders crime gang in the aftermath of the First World War.

 

 

 

The gang is based on a real urban youth gang that was active in the city from the 1880s to the 1910s.
