St. Mark's Coptic Orthodox Cathedral celebrated the Holy Family’s arrival in Egypt by screening a segment of part two from WATCH IT’s documentary series "Om El Donya".

During his speech, Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of St. Mark emphasized that this celebration is unique because it combines history, civilization, and strong faith.

 

He expressed gratitude to United Media Services for producing “Om El Donya” documentary series and described Egypt as a vast temple that embodies the worship of God.

 
Pope Tawadros II highlighted the significance of various pillars in Egypt, including the Egyptian army, security forces, church, and Al Azhar.
 
 
 
He also commended the performance of veteran actress Sawsan Badr and acknowledged the Egyptian government's recent emphasis on the Holy Family journey.
 
 
He stressed the importance of history in teaching valuable lessons across all aspects of life, stating that Egypt's rich history is synonymous with life itself.
 
 
Pope Tawadros II expressed hope that "Om El Donya” documentary would be shown worldwide to present an accurate portrayal of Egyptian history, asserting that Egypt holds a significant place in world history.
