‘El-Hashashin’ was awarded the Best Arabic Series Prize from Al Dana Drama Award.
The award was presented by Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa in Bahrain.
The massive production series was aired in Ramadan 2024, and amassed huge success.
In the 11th century in northern Persia, Hassan El Sabagh founded a group of the most loyal to the Ismaili community.
The group members were ready to sacrifice their lives to achieve their goal and struck terror into the hearts of their enemies from the rulers and princes.
They were able to assassinate several influential figures at that time, forming the first secret terrorist group that was later called “El Hashashin.”
The massive production series is directed by renowned director Peter Mimi and scripted by veteran writer Abdel Rahim Kamal.
The series houses an ensemble cast including Karim Abdelaziz, Fathy Abdelwahab, Nicolas Mouwad, Suzan Najemeldin, Ahmed Eid, Mirna Nour El-Din, and others.
