Ahmed El Sakka participates in ‘Equestrianism in Egypt’ documentary

 

President Abdel Fattah al Sisi witnessed on Wednesday the opening of Arab Military Equestrian Championship in the Olympic Games City in the New Administrative Capital.

 

 

 

Egyptian megastar Ahmed El Sakka participated in the documentary titled “Equestrianism in Egypt” that was screened during the opening ceremony and narrates the history of equestrianism in Egypt.

 

 

The tournament will take place starting 24th to 27th of April at the Olympic Games City in the New Administrative Capital.

 

 

 

Eleven Arab countries are participating in the tournament including, (Egypt - Libya - Qatar - Algeria - Kuwait - Tunisia - Syria - Iraq - Saudi Arabia - Jordan - UAE).

Many national entities and companies were keen to confirm their participation as sponsors of the tournament, and the it comes within the framework of the efforts of the Egyptian Armed Forces to strengthen military and cultural ties between Arab countries and exchange experiences in various sports, which contributes to consolidating the bonds of relations and cooperation between Arab armies.

 

The championship also comes within the framework of the Armed Forces’ keenness to establish equestrian sports within Egyptian stadiums.
