Kamel El Adad +1: Family Comes First

 

The family/drama/romantic comedy “Kamel El Adad+ 1” was a much needed genre that added a unique flavor to Ramadan drama marathon.

 

 

The series taught us that family comes first and that to be one family doesn’t necessary mean to share blood ties because chosen family bond may sometimes be way stronger and much deeper.

 

 

 

We see how the love of Ahmed ( Sherif Salama) and Layla ( Dina Elsherbiny) managed to overcome all the obstacles and problems. Kamel El Adad+1 made us realize that the most romantic love story is between the grandma and grandpa who grew-up together like Haya and Mokhtar ( Essad Younis and Tamim Abdou).

 

 

Yasmine Rais made a lovely special appearance and we were already missing our Zozo ( Aya Samaha).

 

 

The loyal cast of “Kamel El Adad+1” was keen to pay tribute to the late Mostafa Darwish for the second time  reflecting how much they truly miss him.

 

 

Dina El Sherbiny and Sherif Salama reprise their roles as Laila Taymour and Ahmed Mokhtar in the sequel to the popular series “Kamel El Adad.”

 

 

In the first season Laila, who was married twice and has four children, fell in love with widower Ahmed Mokhtar who works as a plastic surgeon and has three kids.

 

 

 

The series followed their problems and hardships after their marriage while raising their seven kids together.

 

 

Kamel El Adad +1 picks up with the couple and their blended family after the couple have their first baby.

 

 

 

 

The 15-episode series is a social comedy that features Aya Samaha, Ahmed Kamal, Ahmed Gamal Said, Gihan El Shamashergy, Amr Gamal, Essad Younis, Mourad Makram and Sedky Sakr.
