Egyptian star Yasmin Raeis won the Best Actress Award on her role in "Ana La Habibi" movie at the 72nd edition of the Egyptian Catholic Center Cinema Festival.
"Ana La Habibi" follows the romantic love story that Laila (Yasmin Raeis) lives, but she faces many difficulties in order to continue this relationship. Alongside Yasmin Raeis, the film stars Karim Fahmy, Mohamed El Sharnouby, Sawsan Badr, and Bayoumi Fouad. Ana La Habibi is written by Mahmoud Zahran and directed by Hadi Al-Bagouri.
On the other hand, Yasmin Raeis is waiting for the Ramadan season for her new series "Godar" in which she plays the role of Scheherazade.
Yasmin is also about to wrap up filming her new film Al Fostan Al Abyad (The white Dress) which is scheduled to be released in the second half of the year.
Yasmin Raeis is an Egyptian star famous for the diversity in terms of the roles she chooses to play between drama, romance and comedy. Yasmin Raeis starred the film Les Baghdad that generated more than EGP 33 million in Egyptian box office revenues.
In addition to her film "Kiss Me Not", Yasmin Raeis did not hesitate to play the leading role in the film Looking for Oum Kulthum. Yasmin played a number of roles that attracted the audience on social media platforms such as her role in Sheikh Jackson and Sone'a Fee Misr (Made in Egypt) which marks her first collaboration with comedian Ahmed Helmy.
Later on, Yasmin played the lead role in "Hepta: The Last Lecture" which holds the record for the highest-grossing romance film in the Egyptian history of cinema.
Her astounding performances won her a career-defining role in iconic late director Mohamed Khan’s highly acclaimed film "Fatat El Masna'a" (Factory Girl) which marked her breakthrough in cinema.
On the other hand, Yasmin always has distinctive roles in TV dramas such as "Ana Shahira...Ana El Kha’en", "Taraf Talet" and "A’rd Khas" (Special Screening).
