After 3-years hiatus, veteran Egyptian actor Yehia El Fakharany will compete in Ramadan drama marathon with “Atabat El Bahga" series.
Bahgat Al-Ansari is a retired seventy-years-old man who lives with his son, wife, and two grandchildren, Hala and Omar.
Bahgat’s wife died twenty years ago, and since then he has been living with his son and busy with his grandchildren problems, at the same time he reunites with his first love, Lubna.
Bahgat’s son travelled with his wife because they got a job opportunity in Europe and both died there because of an accident.
Bahgat becomes responsible for his grandchildren and faces many problems. Will he be able to protect his grandchildren?
Will Bahgat marry again? “Atabat El Bahga”series features a star-studded cast that includes Yehia El Fakharany, Jumana Mourad, Salah Abdullah, Ennaba, Khaled Shabat, Safaa Al-Toukhi, Sama Ibrahim, Hisham Ismail, Wafaa Sadek, Hazem Ehab, Youssef Othman, Laila Ezz Al-Arab and Alaa Morsi.
The 15-episodes series is scheduled to be released in Ramadan 2024.
The series will be directed by veteran director Magdy Abo Omeira.
The last collaboration between El Fakharany and Abo Omeira was 16 years ago in the hit series "Yetraba Fe Ezo".
“Atabat El Bahga" is based on a novel by Ibrahim Abdelmegeed and the series script is written by Medhat El Adl.
